Ahmed Malik
Ahmed graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business and Finance in 2016, building on early experience in facilities management. Following research roles at financial institutions Investec and Rathbones, he combined his industry and financial knowledge to found Enlight Group in 2018.
An Arsenal fan, Ahmed lives in London with his wife and young family. He spent three months volunteering in South Africa before university, bringing a strong 'giving back' ethos to his company. In his spare time, he is a food lover who enjoys countryside holidays and long walks along scenic rivers and canals.
Jeff Silver
With more than 20 years of experience across the commercial cleaning and facilities management sectors, Jeff brings a wealth of industry knowledge, commercial insight, and operational expertise to Enlight, having joined in September 2026 as Managing Director and partner.
Jeff plays a key role in shaping the company’s culture, helping drive growth while ensuring that operational excellence, customer relationships, and the development of our people remain at the heart of everything we do. He is passionate about finding practical, innovative solutions that deliver genuine value for clients, while creating an environment in which colleagues can develop, progress and take pride in their work.
Jeff lives in North Essex with his wife and 2 daughters. He is a passionate Tottenham fan, and enjoys taking the family dog on long walks, watching films, and reading autobiographies.
A lover of Indian food, his favourite place to visit is the Greek Islands
Peter Cardinal
Peter joined our team in 2023, following a career which began as a printing press engineer. He moved into maintenance engineering almost a decade ago, gaining extensive experience in the print and commercial cleaning sectors. Peter now manages and oversees our entire maintenance division.
In his spare time, Peter is an avid Arsenal FC fan, a keen cyclist – taking part in rides to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation – and is actively involved in supporting local food banks and charities.
He has a daughter, lives in Kent, loves Italian food, and his favourite place to holiday is Vilamoura, Portugal.
Dennis Flower
Following a career in journalism, editing leading industry publications and supporting their award and live event initiatives, Dennis Flower has returned to the work environment as a business coordinator.
He has been engaged to support both established and new events and conferences, as well as working with businesses such as Enlight Group to help them raise their industry profile and gain new business, with the overall aim of assisting them to achieve their growth ambitions.
His long experience in publishing is continuing to encourage potential clients to approach him to chair roundtable meetings, launch or improve company and industry awards, and generally put his expertise and extensive network of senior industry representatives to the best use.
