Ahmed Malik

Ahmed graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business and Finance from the University of Hertfordshire in 2016, and prior to this gained valuable experience in the facilities management sector.

Following university, he went on to hold research roles with renowned financial institutions Investec and Rathbones. Combining his facilities management sector experience, and financial and business knowledge, he founded Enlight Group in 2018.

Ahmed lives in London with his wife and young family. He’s a keen Arsenal FC fan, and in his spare time enjoys long walks in the countryside, particularly alongside canals and rivers.

Before university he spent three months volunteering for charities in South Africa, and this ‘giving back’ ethos is something he has brought to Enlight Group.

He’s a food lover, enjoying hearty meat dishes, and his favourite places to holiday are in the countryside or near scenic waterways.

Peter Cardinal

Peter joined our team in 2023, following a career which began as a printing press engineer. He moved into maintenance engineering almost a decade ago, gaining extensive experience in the print and commercial cleaning sectors. Peter now manages and oversees our entire maintenance division.

In his spare time, Peter is an avid Arsenal FC fan, a keen cyclist – taking part in rides to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation – and is actively involved in supporting local food banks and charities.

He has a daughter, lives in Kent, loves Italian food, and his favourite place to holiday is Vilamoura, Portugal.

Doug has more than 25 years’ experience in food retail management, and now has extensive experience also in cleaning account management.

Married with two grownup children, he enjoys cinema-going, playing and watching football, and long walks with his dog.

His favourite food is a curry, and he especially enjoys cruising in the Mediterranean.

Sara is an MBAgraduate passionate about marketing and foreign languages. With nearly a decade of professional experience, her journey has been marked by a passionate and strategic approach to business management and development. She has successfully led teams, coordinated meetings, and provided top-notch customer service. At Enlight group her mission aligns with delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions.

Originally Italian, she has been living in London for 7 years, Sara loves to constantly learn and boost her creativity, her passions include skating, sawing, cooking everything from scratch and have long walks with her partner Jon and her beloved dog Whiskey. Fun fact about her, she speaks fluently Mandarin and love to be a solo travel at least once a year

Following a career in journalism, editing leading industry publications and supporting their award and live event initiatives, Dennis Flower has returned to the work environment as a business coordinator.

He has been engaged to support both established and new events and conferences, as well as working with businesses such as Enlight Group to help them raise their industry profile and gain new business, with the overall aim of assisting them to achieve their growth ambitions.

His long experience in publishing is continuing to encourage potential clients to approach him to chair roundtable meetings, launch or improve company and industry awards, and generally put his expertise and extensive network of senior industry representatives to the best use.
